Uses:  Attraction of harmonious relationships (social and romantic), pleasure and flow within relationships, inspiration for artists of all kinds, refinement of one's creative visions, drawing beauty, art and aesthetic pleasure into our lives.

 

Venus is the planet that rules love, beauty, and art; in the Air sign of Libra, aesthetic pleasure and harmony in relationships is emphasized.  Relationship here encompasses all of its various forms: between lovers, between friends, between self and cosmos, or between an artist and their artwork. These talismans were created to harness Venus in Libra’s strong social magnetism, and to promote a sense of ease, flow and pleasure in relationships of all kinds.  Especially important for artists, Venus here places an emphasis on intellectual pleasures as well as refining one’s personal aesthetic vision.  Because Libra is oriented towards balance and equilibrium, there is also an emphasis on the intersection of beauty and justice.  

 

The drawing of a woman riding a stag, and holding an apple and a bouquet of flowers is based on the description for a Venus in Libra talisman from the Picatrix, which is a philosophical and technical manual of astrological magic that dates from the 11th century.  The shirt also features the kamea or magic square of Venus, Agrippa's seal of Venus, as well as a Venus sigil.  These symbols for Venus date back centuries and are featured on many Venus talismans throughout the ages. 

 

The shirts were printed with this drawing on September 9th, 2021 between 9:30 - 10:10 am, with the Moon in Libra on the Ascendant, applying to a trine with Jupiter in Aquarius in the 4th house, and approaching a conjunction with Venus in the 1st house.  Green goblets of wine, water, 7 candles, pomegranates, and sandalwood incense were given as offerings to Venus (see chart and image below).
